guest: Hey! welcome! em, i think more like we are alr fully identified when we chose to believe jc died on the cross for our sins.
Passingby: .. that you feel so passionate about, you wont have time to doubt about surrender, you'll just DO IT!![]()
I pray we all have that encount
Passingby: Let's encourage each other to start now, do our best, little surrenders will lead to full surrender. I think when god tells you something..
Kind of ironical isn't it? Matt 6 is an encouragement but yet also a sober reminder of whom I should serve.
Funny how we know that we serve an Almighty Perfect God who will provide what is Best for us. But yet we are not able to give everything for Him.
Yes. “Everything” is a lot indeed! One step at a time? But till the step when “everything” is not given up, we will not be fully identified with Him.
passingby- one step at a time eh! we'll work towards it, one step at a time!
passingby- you know, full surrender takes EVERYTHING, your time, your money, your job, your friendships, zero control. HAHA I tell you it's just a lot
And yes, I do believe we do Love God don’t we? =) But I do doubt sometimes how deep my love is. Still feel that I have much to let go…
Well, I think the extent of true love is the extent to which we are willing to give up ourselves to Him? To let Him guide us in His perfect plan.
His will indeed! I think it is only when we are fully submitted to Him that we will know His will. Else usually it is what we think in our own wisdom.
passingby> you mean like in accordance to his purpose=his will ? whom can be classified as those who "love" him? Us?
And there is a catch there though… that is “who love Him” the pure untainted love and “His purpose” which is all perfect =)
passingby: you know what? I totally read romans 8:28 a few days back and you just assured me AGAIN! It was like dejavu. haha TY for everything (:
Faith is illogical when we think of it based on our own wisdom. That’s why we can’t develop if we only depend on our own strength =) 2 cor 3:4-7
